REGULAR CONCRETE AS A MATERIAL USED TO ACCUMULATE HEAT IN THE ENERGY-SAVING BUILDING

Keywords: regular concrete, heat capacity, heat accumulation
Abstract: The paper presents the heat features of a normal concrete as a material able to accumulate heat. The investigations of heat capacity and conductivity were carried out on normal concretes of various classes of mechanical resistance and on a concrete with sealing additive. The investigations were carried out with the TP01 sounder in the Water Centre of WULS. The analysis of the obtained results shows that the increase of heat conductivity coefficient evokes the increase of volumetric heat capacity. If the mass densities of a normal concrete are similar to each other, there can be noticed that the greater is the heat capacity, the smaller is the specific heat.
