CABLE-STAYED BRIDGE UNDER DYNAMIC WIND ACTION

Abstract: The subject under consideration is dynamic action of wind for cable-stayed bridge. Finite element model is used for the Świętokrzyski Bridge in Warsaw as an example. Free vibration modes are calculated as a base for the method of modal superposition. The wind load is calculated following the Eurocode 1 with the harmonic function for time variable. Semi-resonance as well as flutter phenomena is observed.
