SKIN FRICTION BETWEEN THE SOIL AND LATERAL SURFACE OF DEEP FOUNDATION WITH IN THE RELAXED SUBSOIL
Keywords: skin friction, deep foundation, relaxed subsoil, geotechnical investigations and geotechnical parameters.
Abstract: In the paper a discussion on the impact of relaxing the ground to assess the bearing capacity of the subsoil. On the basis of dilatometer Marchetti (DMT) soundings, carried out before and after the excavation it has been shown that the excavation is not always caused the relaxation of the subsoil, and above all, does not reduce the friction of the soil on the side surfaces of deep foundations. The friction is usually taken from the soil type and the state of stress, which, as shown for example in the design of the foundation pile can lead to the undercutting and thereby redesign foundation.
