Abstract: The article presents the possibility of using numerical analysis in the context of the deep foundations of buildings in the Warsaw area. Complicated ground conditions in the Warsaw area were discussed briefly. The paper proposes a guidelines for construction of numerical models and numerical calculations. Many factors affecting on the numerical calculations results were presented. The necessity of calibration performing in relation to the numerical models was discussed. Based on the presented examples and analyzes, the final conclusions were formulated.
