According to the standard PN-EN 16309 + A1:2014-12 the social aspect should be assessed in six categories:
accessibility, adaptability, comfort and health, neighborhood, maintenance, safety and security. In the article
the authors present the first of six categories: Accessibility, divided into two subcategories, each of which
has been further elaborated by the criteria and sub-criteria. The authors present a part of a work to construct
a method for assessing the social characteristics of the residential buildings.
