Comparison of calculation results of horizontal deformation of geosynthetic reinforced walls obtained by using
different theoretical methods is presented. The selected approaches to solve the problem obtain both the
obviously known analytical methods (FHWA, Geoservice and CTI) and solution which is currently not very
popular, however based on mechanics of GRS, especially on identification of their potential failures (IBW
PAN method) were used. The accuracy of obtained results was verified on the basis of experimental investigations.
Main conclusions and important problems which need further investigations are presented.
