MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF FUNCTIONALLY GRADED MATERIALS IN POLAND

Abstract: The lecture contains a general revues of results in the mathematical modelling of FGM and structures obtained in Poland. The main attention is posed on the application of the new nonasymptotic method of micro-macro-modelling. This method is based on the tolerance averaging technique of differential operators with discontinuous and highly oscillating local periodic coefficients which for microperiodic materials was developed in Woźniak and Wierzbicki [2000].
