Acta Scientiarum Polonorum

Abstract: The paper presents the concept of an ecological dwelling house, which uni&#-1279; es in itself the modern features and the past ones. The building has been localized in the southern Mazovia, so this region served as a source of patterns of the regional architecture. There has been used the actual state of knowledge about building materials and the best of these materials – from the ecological point of view – have been chosen. The technical building equipment, initially proposed, also draws on the most modern ecological solutions.
